In today’s episode on temptation resistance, I was unexpectedly moved by your reflections on David- “what happened to that kid who, when he had the chance to kill Saul in the cave, chose instead to cut off the edge of his garment?” As a (relatively) young man at 28, I resonated with this. “What happened to that kid, who was so earnest and single-minded and joyful? What happened to the younger me?” Yet God’s mercy has never failed me, and it never will. He knows our frame. Thanks for your work on this podcast, Matt.
