Is the cycle broken, or will it be business as usual?

Everything since chapter 8 has been great, and there's only one chapter left after this week, so is it okay to be cautiously optimistic that the Old Testament will end with a breaking of the cycle of failure? We're fixing to find out.

Bone picking time Matt! :) Maybe I misunderstood, but were you saying that Ezra's "celebration ceremony skills" were not as good as Nehemiah's based on the fact that the people who remembered the first temple were sad? All I'm saying is maybe if Ezra had a better product to celebrate, his celebration would not have been tainted. Keep up the good work, I thoroughly enjoy listening to you break down the Bible and I very much appreciate your dedication to "reading every word, because it's there for a reason."
