We're Having a 1000th Episode Party at My Place...

...and I wanted to invite you.
Depending on how you count it, we're hitting 1000 official episodes of the podcast in mid-September. As a result, I've decided to have a party on the evening of Monday, September 25, 2023 in Rapid City, South Dakota where I live.

Even if it isn't a huge event, I think it'll be a lot of fun to actually hang out in person, and for everyone to get to meet other people who listen to the podcast. Also, there will be at least one celebratory balloon and some hot dogs and also Jeff Foote.

That's Monday the 25th. Then on Tuesday the 26th, I'm going to do a not-overly-formal-mini-conference with a smallish group of pastors (or church ministry leaders) where we talk about some of the stuff I've gleaned from visiting all these churches, and some principles for church ministry in this weird moment of history we find ourselves in. That will run from mid-morning until dinner, and space is very limited on that one, but Patrons get first priority on spots for that Tuesday mini-conference event.

I'm going to announce this on the podcast later this week, but I wanted to give all of you who support the program a heads up a little early so you could get the few rooms we've blocked out at the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City. It's super cool and historic, and I'm going to be staying up there as well so I can have more chances to hang out with anyone who makes the trip. Like I said, there aren't very many of these rooms, and I wanted you to get the first crack at them before I make this public to everyone.
