Any thoughts on Jesus and the fig tree (Matt 21) as compared to Jonah and the shade plant (Jonah 4)? Obviously very different situations (Jonah rebelling against God vs. Jesus in perfect submission to the Father), but interesting how getting angry at a plant for failing to do its one job can be seen as totally out of line for Jonah and totally justified for Jesus.
