Thanks Matt for the great lessons. You can't imagine how much this study has helped me. Please forgive my geezerly lack of understanding of Reddit, so I'll ask my question here. In most podcasts, you make a remark like "the original audience would have ....... or the original audience would have immediately thought of ........." Are those statements based on an educated guess, or do we have documents from the era that give us insight into how folks perceived things? Thanks, David from Alabama
