I'm VERY excited about week 10 (and 11)
Added 2019-12-16 07:35:38 +0000 UTCI'm putting a bunch of writing time in right now in preparation for the conclusion of chapter 3 and the completion of Jesus' preparation for ministry segment in chapter 4. There so much here, and I'm grateful for a medium, platform, and community that allows for the deep dive pace that I think is necessary to get this stuff.
I know it's a sacrifice to do what you do here, but it's what makes this whole thing possible. Thank you so so so much!

I grew up in a Christian household, but because of recent turbulance and a significant shift in my life, I've been trying to double down on deep diving into God and spending far more time with Him, and this podcast has played a significant role in that. I've gotten several other people on it as well. A friend got me into NDQ in April via a couple of questionable stickers of Greek time explorers that showed up at work and that was the first time I really loved listening to a podcast. I thought about supporting that, but through that, I found your YT channel, and somehow just found this a couple weeks ago. I have a 50 minute commute on the flat interstates of the Midwest and so I've been listening to about 8 episodes a day, 3 days a week, trying to eventually catch up. Every time I have enough time to listen to one in the car, I get excited. I have never ever been a podcast guy because I love music so much, but this podcast really hits the spot. It's a great way to fill in the gaps between small groups and church things throughout the week. When I'm dragging to get into scripture, this is easier get started and can lead me down into my own rabbit hole. I love it because so far, your theology has been right in line with mine, I like how you point out other perspectives and not just your own, the way you view and approach Christians and non-Christians is with necessary humility, you're honest and vulnerable to an appropriate extent, and you have good humor about stuff. But then you also often talk about places that I've camped and hiked, you often reference geeky things like star wars or make comments about level 15 necromancers (your "Paarthurnax, Wait no that's a dragon you have to kill in Skyrim" was hilarious) and you love music too. I really wish we could hang out and learn together in person, but this is the next best thing. Thanks for doing this, Matt, and I'm glad to see I'm not too late to support it. Keep doing kingdom work 🫡
