Matthew 2 Starts With a Juicy Story About Hated Herod and the Enigmatic Magi

This week we're talking a ton about the patriarch of the New Testament Herod family who plays the role of foil to the redemptive story of Jesus, the disciples, and the Early Church.
This family gets thwarted a lot, and their first thwarting is at the hands of the Magi and God. These stories are suuuuuuuuuper fun and set up the gigantic stuff that's coming once Jesus is on screen as an adult.
Buckle up homies.
