One Last Update

Hello Roomies! 

We apologize for the delay in updates and news since Sunday. Obviously, there has been a lot of moving parts over the past 2 days and we just want to make sure everything we do is the best choice for not only us but you as well!

So here are some updates: 

• House of Cinema- will still exist! There will not be any episodes reviewing new movies (sorry Barbenheimer) but we will make every episode a "Revisiting" episode talking about movies not from this year. Episodes will be chosen via poll by the Film Fans and above!
• House of Horrors- will continue. We will finish off James Wan with Malignant and resume August as Found Footage month. 
• House of MCU will remain on temporary pause. The reasoning behind this is that the MCU is arguably Disney's largest and most profitable property. While we may be talking about movies from struck companies, it doesn't feel right to continue with the MCU at this time. This WILL resume as soon as the strike is over. 
• House of Anime will continue and act as the placeholder for House of MCU. The first episode drops next week!
• Speaking of which, we recognize some House of Horror movies and Revisiting movies may be made from struck companies, so to help show our solidarity and support the SAG-AFTRA/WGA, at the end of each month we will be donating 10% of our monthly Patreon earnings. We thought this would be a good way to show our solidarity while still talking about movies. 
• What about House of Gaming? Admittedly a fun idea but one we may have to table for now. We have 2 goals at House of Cinema, provide top-notch content and grow. Ideally, in the future, our team expands, and talented new (or old) people can take the reins of some of these "Houses". But that's something for the future. 
• What about House of ETC? A personal project that I still will work on! This is just a way for fun non-movie related conversations can be had with cool and fun guests. 
• Movie nights- still happening! Poll tomorrow to confirm the date for next week
• Game Nights- still happening, however, with the extreme heat..it may have to be Game (Mornings?). More on this later. 
• - Cinephiles- a new perk was added. Nothing crazy but it is kind of fun! Will explain in a separate post. 

Schedule: This week, we are taking this week to re-calibrate. We apologize greatly for the lack of content but everything will resume as normal next week.

• Monday- July 24th- House of Anime: Attack On Titan (ep 1-5)
• Tuesday- July 25th- Revisiting: Gone Girl
• Wednesday- July 26th- House of Horrors: Malginant

Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your support. We lost a couple of patrons (which I feel bad about since movie stuff will still be discussed so maybe they'll come back) but the amount of support we received from you all was overwhelming. 

We truly feel lucky to have you all and we are excited to resume content while continuing to support SAG-AFTRA/WGA
