Patreon, Update 8: Voiced video coming soon!

Whew, this month has been crazy.

Hi everyone,

First of all, I would like to apologize for not updating more than once this month. School has gotten a bit intense lately, and with work on the side, most of my free time has gone into editing our next videos.

I'm happy to announce and let everyone know that I will start rendering Chloe's voiced remaster tonight. So please look forward to it! All that's left after that is the upload itself.

The next post will have a link to download the sneak peak gallery for Melon and up patrons. Once the video is publicly out I'll be sharing the part 1 only gallery.

On Chloe's video

This has been the most complex project I've worked on in my life.

I had never worked with more than 10 tracks in my life so intensively. And this video has 23 tracks total! I didn't just add the voiceover on top of the two old videos. I completely remade them from the ground-up, with new assets, proofreading, and a new (better style).

I chose to go for a comic-book/manga style, where the dialogue appears in text bubbles instead of the simple text like most other JOIs do. I also experimented with adding sound effects as text, however this you will have to wait to see in Chisato and Takina's video, since I wasn't able to get it just right. 

This is the best video I've ever made, and I assure you that Chisato and Takina's will look even better.

On Chisato and Takina's video

I finalized the script for this video a while ago, and it's currently being cooked.

At the beginning of the month, I chose to work on Chloe's video first, since I thought it would be the easier project, considering I already had the original videos to work with. However, when the comic book style popped into my head, I could not just leave my first voiced video without it. I think this style looks really nice, but it's really labor intensive, way more than I expected at first. So Chloe took up most of my time this month. HOWEVER, Chisato and Takina's video will be out during June, too. You can be sure of it. Please make sure to leave your feedback on Chloe's video, so I can make the duo's video the best it can be! I'll update soon with more images and plot details! :)
