I swear, there will come a time when I go an entire month posting the weekly update on Wednesday, as planned. But it is not this day.

So. Dave in Dallas Chs 17 & 18 have both been through peer review and are awaiting captain's approval. I'm just waiting my turn. Good news on that front. One captain has been plugging away at the backlog. Another is getting back into things as best he can and the third is steadily working away at the stuff that's keeping him from reviewing. Once at least one captain approves, I can post a chapter here. Two are needed for posting on Lit, but that's 90 days after here, so there's time. Bear in mind, the review process is purely volunteer. We all have jobs and families and shit's happening. Being 'behind the curtain' now has been an eye-opening experience in so many ways.

Meanwhile, in Bunker land, Benjamin chapter 9 is done and ch 10 progressing nicely. It will be the last of those, and I will release them during the month after The Bunker ch 17. Yes, I'm getting some work in on that as well. It's just been slower. I think once I finish Ben ch10, My primary efforts will be in Bunker 17 and Rick the Dick. If you're new around these parts, I have three side stories in the Bunker universe about men in Kevin's unit. These men already appeared by name during the training cycle chapters of The Bunker. They are Benjamin Tadiola, Rick Nance, and Michael Forrester. Mike's Story, a four chapter look at Kevin's radioman, is complete and awaiting the proper time for release. Ben is nearly done. This last chapter will cover his involvement in the Cullings. I have started Rick the Dick, but as you may have guessed, I don't like that fucker. It's a needed story. I may tell a chunk of it from the perspective of one or more women in his entourage. If I can pull that off. I'm really writing it for them anyway. There's some dark shit that will happen in the world I've created there, and I didn't want it to go unacknowledged.

In other news, I'm getting some practice in with Yodayo for generating character images. It seems like the ones that come out best for nearly everything I wanted have screwed up eyes. I'll keep plugging away. These will be cast pictures for additional stories. I want to move away from the copyright issues of pulling pictures off the internet. I used search words like free use and such, but that's no guarantee. AI images won't have that problem. I just need to get them right.
