My wife recently bought me two new books. The first two in a series of authorized Firefly stories. I spent all day Sunday reading the first one.
I have begun work on Dave in Dallas ch 16, though not a lot. My writing urge keeps jumping stories, and just got going on DiD, so that's maybe a thousand words, though some of that is outline and ideas. Break's doing a chapter review in a day or so - I will not be ready for that, which means if I get DiD 16 out by the end of the month, It will likely come with a caveat again.
People suck so bad. There was a snafu, my fault, were I submitted the wrong version of DiD 14 to Lit. I gave notice in two places on Lit (one comment after chapter, and a notice in my profile) and still people got bitchy about. One fucker even decided to one-star the chapter -- the story he gets for free!!!
That's just one small symptom. I'm fucking sick of humanity. Most especially of the people that cause problems, but think they're solving problems caused by ... oh, just fuck it.
Wisdom might just dealt about the last ten lines or so, but to hell with it. I'll get some writing done tomorrow and Friday. I have Friday off, so yeah, maybe I can get a few thousand more words out.
