As the year draws to a close, things are all very happily on track for CnW! As you may have seen, we've gotten a nice amount of press over the last month including a playthrough during Yogscast's Jingle Jam charity event (attached video).
Behind the scenes of course we're still tidying up those last few snags and making sure we're ready to launch both digital and physical on the same day. Oh, and we also announced a partnership with GOG.com, meaning there's a DRM free option as well as Steam now :)
I imagine it won't be too much longer until this Patreon has completely run its course given our release is now a mere 2 months away, so if you're at the $5 tier and would like possibly the last chance to test things out before this chapter closes, leave a comment below and I'll add you to the list! Cutoff will be Friday 23rd December, but please bear in mind Christmas may delay things by a little bit as I'd like to take a day or two to spend time with family if I can!
Of course I'll keep you all posted as early as possible as to when this Patreon will be going away, and how that will affect things as time goes on.
The light at the end of the tunnel is getting bright, and I thank you all for helping us get there!

That should be the case, but I still like the idea of not tying anyone or the game to a single platform, it never hurts to have options! Good to hear about Steam Deck, I've heard similar things from a couple of others too, which is very encouraging!

The only difference is you need Steam to install the game, but unless you tie into the Steam SDK I do not believe you even need Steam to run it once downloaded. Last Beta seemed to run well on Steam Deck btw, so I now have low-end and high-end testing (4090) although I think it kinda goes without saying its going to run well on the latter. As usual, sign me up for the next Beta and I will give it a go on the Steam Deck again.
