Well, what a month it has been! After the first implementation of the save/progression system in Jan, I have been inundated with incredibly helpful feedback, streams to watch and even a fledgling speedrunning community finding all manner of issues! It's all very much appreciated and is serving to help make the game all the better, each little tweak at a time!
This month's build will feature all of the levels/bosses as before. Given how last month went however, almost every one of them contains tweaks and additions to help make the experience smoother, more fun, more player friendly or a mix of all three! Just to name a few:
- Rumble support.
- Animated health HUD element, to help further push when Clive is hurt or healed.
- Speedrun timer (toggleable from the expanded main menu), will automatically pause itself during cutscenes and loadtimes.
- Additional shortcut between the living room and kitchen, that can be triggered within 'Bunny, I Shrunk The Chimp'.
- Additional shortcut in 'Tempus Tombs', that allows you to climb all the way back to the top of Cleocatra's temple if you've made it up there once.
- Button triggered doors no longer reset when you leave an area.
One important note however is that old save files will not work, so please use the debug menu to wipe your progress before continuing through the "Autosave Message" screen!
