Ooo fun fact Ayla’s boss is real life sister of Dokrak’s mum

KN

Well, I don’t drink alcohol, Theora – but if anyone follows your four occasions to take a shot (Ayla crying, crossfades, Tawan lurking, Ayla & Tawan reuniting), your audience would be dead for sure, so I’m not gonna add to that by e.g. adding every time “Moonlight” is played, or every time the shoe slo-mo (like you added later). ___ The episode starts with Alya and Tawan separated, and Tawn is not taking it too well, even though she doesn’t want to put Ayla in an awkward position with her father. Meanwhile, Ayla father is preparing a bid while still investigating the shootout with no clear leads. For this bid, also Tawan’s father – or rather his son Mek – is preparing a bid, but Mek is apparently no up to the task, his father mentioned that Mek lost every bid he participated in, but Mek pleads with him to give him one more chance. He agrees but makes it clear that changes are afoot should he lose this one as well. He accuses his dad of secretly planning to install Tawan as his replacement, but Songklod claims no one can replace Mek if he’s good enough. They lost five dibs that year, and all went to Ayle’s father instead. Songklod calls up Tawan and details the dire situation the company’s in right now; her can’t put his hope and trust into Mek, he wants her to work for the company – but that would put her into direct competition with Ayla’s father. Meanwhile, Ayla is trying her performance at BEC for the upcoming concert, but she is distracted by the problems in her relationship with Tawan. She talks to her boss about and mentions that everyone seems to be against their love. But her boss correctly points out that everyone’s fine with the relationship, everyone but their fathers. She says that every problem has a solution, and it’s just a matter of choosing the solution that hurts her heart the least. At night, Tawan stands silently in front of Alya’s father’s villa; she’s about to leave as Ayla calls her and falls into her arms; she wants them to be together again and can’t stand the separation. She doesn’t want to hurt her father, but can’t live without Tawan, so she’ll just have to let him be angry. Tawan mentions that she isn’t going anywhere, and they promise each other their eternal love again. Mek is getting angry and questioning his assistant why the competitors haven’t dropped out of the bidding yet. He requests that his assistant gets it done, no matter the methods. He sets a previously made plan into motion. Alya is making promotion for her upcoming concert, she is asked whether she and Tawan will make a public appearance soon, but she claims Tawan is both camera-shy and very busy, so it might take a while for them to appear in public together. She gets flowers from Tawan afterwards, as some shady people up to no good are closing on her location. While someone is taking pictures of her, she talks with Tawan on the phone. Ayla’s father receives to photo just taken and gets a call from someone who gives him a choice: either drop out of the bidding or let his daughter suffer the consequences. Ayla’s father cannot reach her which is why he calls up the bodyguard and lets him hand the phone over to Ayla – but he can’t tell her anything before her bodyguards are shot and masked people are trying to abduct her. Her father withdraws from the bidding, but Ayla can only temporarily break free before the bad guys recapture her. Then, Tawan appears, and a big fight scene ensues. Soon, her bodyguards join in – once not in heels! – on the shootout; after close to five minutes all assailants are neutralized – but Tawan is hurt in the arm. Nevertheless, she mandates that Ayla is brought to safety before she goes to the hospital. Mek reports the good news to his father: they have won the bidding. Meanwhile, a very worried Alya and an injured Tawan are en route to Ayla’s father. And that’s where episode 10 ends. ___ The first 22 or so minutes were just used to reset the damage done by Tawan and Ayla to themselves; I was just about to give up on the episode, when the plot finally started again. Mek is comically incompetent, not bothering with a proper bid but just forcing everyone else to withdraw; that he is about to be named president of the company is laughable and doesn’t bode well for the company. But the action sequence at the end was well-filmed and choreographed; that alone makes episode 10 close to the best episode of the whole series (perhaps apart from episode 1).
