It is revealed that Ayla convinced Pete to pretend to make out with her to trigger Tawan, and that Pete is gay and likes Typhoon. Tawan apologizes for being “a little jealous”. Ayla get a package from home – that rain chaser figurine with Tawan’s e-mail address; she proceeds to send Tawan and e-mail while Tawan mentions to Chanya that she made her choice picking up on the conversation they had two episodes ago. We get a cute little training montage of Any and Tawan. The, they’re going camping (at Tawan’s place) and stocking up on snacks at a gas station. Tawan gives a bracelet to Ayla; she asks her to be her girlfriend, and Ayla sheds a few – happy – tears, of course, she accepts; they kiss (which looks better than last week). We get an advert for instant noodles – then, Ayla is asking about Tawan’s sudden move to Hong Kong eight years ago. Tawan says she got into a fight with her half-brother which turned violent (hence the bruise on her face at the time), which is why she moved to her aunt in Hong Kong. Tawan unpacks her box of keepsakes including the rain chaser Ayla made, and it is revealed that Tawan followed Aylas career from afar. And she took Ayla’s comment that she’s like her personal bodyguard as an inspiration to found her company. They return home, and Alya’s father has arrived; he thanks her for finding Ayla’s stalker. Later, Alya’s and Tawan sit together at home, cuddling and sharing kisses; Tawan wants to tell her father that they are dating, and Ayla is fine with it. They make plans to tell him the following day. The next day, Tawan asks Ayla’s father for permission to date her. He wants to talk to her alone, then asks her whether her love for Ayla influenced her decision to take up the bodyguards job, but Tawan details that it was his fear of business rivals getting to Ayla as his “weak spot” that convinced her she needed protection. We get a flashback of that conversation. He asks her explicitly whether she’s ready to protect Ayla with her life, and she vows to do so. Then, he’s accepts her dating Tawan. At lunch , the three of them talk about marriage (I agree with Ayla: way too early!), and Ayla’s father inquires about Tawan family. Tawan states that her surname Wang comes from her Hong Kang aunt, she only adopted it. Her original surname is Chokprasertsup and her father, Songklod, owns the TS Construction Group. His mood changes completely after this revelation, he says he will not allow her daughter to be with the child of a traitor. He cancels the bodyguard contract and mandates that she stays away from Ayla. And that’s where the episode ends, he leaves with a shocked Ayla. That was the best episode so far; we got deeper into the past on Tawan’s past and had no flashbacks to scenes we already watched this week. Plus, the episode first lulled us into a false sense of security when his acceptance of their relationship came about easier than expected, only to pull a 180 by the end of the episode because of Tawan’s family. The first half of the episode was a little slow, but that second half made up for that.

2025-08-25 22:52:06 +0000 UTCTawan was running away the next day after the fight with her bro so she went to go tell Ayla, But she didn't want to distract her from the competition so was going to tell her after. She tried to wait till the competition ended but there wasn't enough time as she had to catch her flight so she couldn't tell her. (Source from Ling during interview) Im also guessing her father didn't treat her well, guessing from her living in a tiny tree house instead of the main house with the family. Also everytime tawan sees the way Aylas dad cares for her she looks happy for Ayla yet a bit sad for herself
