Project Updates for August

Making a general patreon post here as some things in the post are relevant for all tiers.

I think I should have all the content/updates for all tiers (including mmd and past stuff) done early next week. I will message folks who were here in August with relevant links.

Umichan Sentoryu is in the final stretch I think. The other cafe girls needs try on the outfits and finish the game kinda similar to the previous version. 

A few things I wanted to add was:

A way for Carl to get an investor if he rejects both Albert and Ace. This will be in the form of "Slick" text messages he will be able to do.

Have a scene for Tom with 2 other new girls.

Have various "after the cafe is up and running" scenes similar to the previous tyranobuilder version of the game.

including some stuff with Carl x Maiko when Maiko joins the cafe

then add image and animations unlock/replay gallery

I also wanted to post a kind of "life update" because it is clearly causing some delays.

I am usually pretty private about my life, and I also don't want to spend too much time typing about it when I could be actually working on stuff or posting about project updates, so I'll try to be brief.

Thanks to anyone who got Umichan Sorani on Steam. It was a pretty good success for me I think, considering it's my first game in water with the sharks. Nothing super life changing where I'm like instantly rich, but for sure very much needed income boost for the first two months.

I think after a sale or something I can get another burst of sale similar to launch day or week.

Since then, I've been very busy with irl stuff of all kinds. Even this coming weekend, I have a cousin's wedding out of town, I basically have to be at. Then a big chuck of my day on Wednesday will be gone helping my mom get some repair work done. 

I also moved this month, and have been out of town this month already, and been helping my mom and aunt with stuff, just, a lot.

But in actual project news, I also got a new PC from steam sales. My current PCs were like 15+ years old.

I plan to make various 3D content on the new PC. Because I think the old ones are still good for handling basic 2D projects. 

So far I have been busy learning VaM (Virt-a-Mate) (and very quickly thanks to trety) to try to have some supplemental steady steam of content here that been really lacking.

Also because I might not always have 2D animations ready to go each month of the game doesn't call for it. And I'm really super far ahead of 2D animation right now. 

I can't make games as fast as animations can be made. But not everything needs to be a game also. 

So far I think I have Maiko done and ready to do with Pattie, Riley, Zytra, and Arielle. in the works.

Hopefully Luma and Carl can be added after. 

And speaking of Arielle, I've been also working on a snow area for ARIA Genesis. Ideally using Phia as a playable character. Will have more info on that in a separate post. 

I also plan to start using my automated nominations and voting system I made on my website. 

since you can only nominate once using that system. I plan to just have regular nomination and voting periods. at least 2 per month.

but it also depends on what it is. Could be images, animations, or whatever else.
