2024-01-17 04:44:33 +0000 UTCI’ve been trying to work in more solid whites and blacks in this one than I did in WarCrimes! I noticed that even if you have a lot of contrast in light tones and dark tones, any time you put tones next to tones without solid black and white breaks it gets muddy. I learned a lot from doing some experiments with traditional screen tones where you cut the dot tones to size with an exacto knife and put them on the art like a sticker, and it really made me appreciate how much better it looks when you simplify blocks of screentones.
