Art from 2004 - Trying to improve

Moving onto the glorious year of 2004. I remember working deadly hard on this first picture. I WAS SO PROUD OF HER... I wanted this image to get on the front of Deviantart so bad. I remember posting and refreshing and refreshing and refreshing and .... it flopped. I remember being so proud of it and within hours everything I felt was completely crushed, lmao.

By the way these are my OCs... they were all over my 2003 post as well.
Before I tell you their names, please prepare yourself.

The purple haired girl's name is Spirit. She has 6 sisters ....... ahem ......... Hi, Mizu, Chi, Hikari, Yami, and Kaze. And I guess those names are literally supposed to mean - Fire, water, earth, light, darkness and wind. Kill me now.

I think the yellow-haired girl's name is LITERALLY "Soul". The green haired boy (yes boy) is Kenichi, and he still holds a VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART ♥ He is a Gary Stu and I don't care. LOL
The purple boy is Wolfe, her teacher. They go to a magic school ........ it was literally some sort of Harry Potter Tokyo Mew Mew hybrid story (LMFAO).....the manga was called Icecream Beauties (don't ask). I ended up writing at least 50+ chapters from 2003-2007 and posted them online, but they don't exist any more.

Moving on you can also see some of my first attempts at painting. Very bad. They were done with dollar store watercolours on bristol board. Very bad ...
The passion was always there though, wasn't it?!

The digital ones I made with a mouse. Even the lineart!!!! Can you believe that.... 😭 I still didn't have a tablet yet at this point.
