Animated WIP

Limbo's favorite star is back with a new outfit. I was working on this end of December but I think I switched to the Rogue animation instead. Been going back and forth to this. It's been a while since I did something in between other projects but I figured why not just give it some more time in between stuff.

I can't say for sure when this will be done but I'm looking to either do it after my next animation (WIP coming tomorrow likely) or after I do the monthly animation which would be closer to end of month or start of next.

This WIP is the basic movements, I still need to add the additional movements and expressions.

MAGIK'S SUCK

For magik, the first and main thing I did was to add some bones to her rig so I could control the mouth easier. Mouth rigs often have the same set of 10-16 bones. Instead, I had 3 bones that I made. One for the bottom lip half, one for the top lip half, and another for both at the same time. It made it less cumbersome having to deal with so many bones and made it simple. I added bones for the cheeks as well so they could puff and shrink as well.

I've also started to like animating butt jiggles and collisions manually with bones. I've used it on Magik's butt in the 2nd portion. I think the results have been good and it's good practice to be able to animate stuff manually just to make sure I can rather than always rely on cloth physics or automated bone movements.

THOUGHTS AND DIRECTION

This isn't too technical, it's mostly just why I decided what I did. I love Magik more than anyone else in Rivals as a character even if she's not the most used for my animations. I like Magik as a dom but this skin gives me a chance to do a sort of alternate personality. I really liked the idea of the bimbo personality that many 2d artist depict with the sort of bubbly butts, huge breasts, lips, etc. so I tried to add some of that. I thought storm is underused as well so she would be a good pairing.

Originally I only planned to do the doggy position for a basic animation but I instead did the BJ and figured why not do both. Slight spoiler ahead but I got an idea in mind that involves Storm's ability to fly that I planned to implement for parts toward the start of the climax😉.
