New Year, New Rimworld Series!

Hello everyone! As the title suggests, the new Rimworld "Darkworld" series is finally live on my YouTube channel :D

Mind you, it was due to be out weeks ago, but I found myself stuck in a "not good enough" loop with the opening video. I unashamedly bit off a bit more than I could chew with trying to make an animated introduction video, though amusingly the most difficult part was something I hadn't even thought of when starting out (I guess that's often the way with these sorts of projects.)

While I'm still hopeful to finish this project, in some capacity (either as a retroactive intro video, or flashback scenes injected into the LP itself) I felt that constantly delaying the series because the video wasn't ready, without any solid idea of how much time would be needed to fill the skill gaps I had, to enable me to make the video I wanted to make, I'd go ahead and start the series now.

That said, I figured that since I had a script (of sorts) that adds a lot more background to the characters and fleshes out the beginning of the series, I could at the very least share this 'behind the scenes' info with you!

This information isn't necessary to enjoy the Let's Play, and I'm sure many of the details will come out through play as we go along, but for the curious, I'll start off by attaching the script for the opening video I had planned. I may add in more files and notes as I get them organised (and translated, since big chunks of them are in Welsh lol)

And with the series live at last, I finally feel like the new year has begun.
