When He Died Lyric/Beat Video + Update post

...So this will require a bit of explaining. Let's rewind to about a month ago.

Shortly after stating I would be finishing Brony Polka Animated before the end of the year, I noticed I was getting a bit behind schedule, due to not only a bit of inevitable burnout, but also working on and wanting to release a third Viv's Spook Stories (That of which obviously hasn't happened yet, probably gonna make it a "Nightmare Before Christmas" thing now) and most notably due to a diploma course I've been working on the past few months requiring the whole class to redo all the work we'd worked on the entire course in the space of three weeks... Twice. It's a long story, ask me about it another day.

Then, on top of all the above, suddenly in a thunderstorm just a couple weeks ago my animation-laptop imploded, meaning not only was I now down one of my two work laptops, but all the work I'd done since my last backup was completely lost.

...Here's the good news, my last backup was conveniently only a month before the lightning struck, meaning all I'd lost was all the Death Note video project files and all BPA work done throughout that month (Which admittedly wasn't a lot, as that was right in the middle of the weird diploma course redo-thing thing I had to spend most of my time on). Not to mention the data on the laptop is very likely not lost, I'll just need to disconnect the hard drive and reconnect it to some other computer to recover any lost files (Something which I've been told is, as long as the hard drive isn't fried, very easy to do).

So, between that lightning strike and now, I sorta took a break from having to think about Brony Polka Animated and went a bit nuts on a couple other mini-projects. First I wrote a 14 page script for a video I don't expect will see the light of day (Just as a fun thing, if it does happen it won't be for a good while), and second was the above video.

So, I (usually) work with two laptops. My first laptop, the animation-laptop, I use for animating stuff, before it gets sent to my second laptop, my Surface, which is essentially my editing-laptop. The first laptop died, but I can still use my second laptop for less intensive things (Even though technically the specs are high enough to work on pretty intensive things, but because of unfixable fan problems if I work on anything too intensive the fan freaks out and the screen freaks out and it's not a fun time etc.) meaning I can still use my second laptop to work on mini-projects, like such as for example, preparing for a future post-BPA music video I've wanted to work on for for a long while.

SO, with all that preamble out of the way, because in the process for mapping out all the beats for the above video I accidentally made something really satisfying to watch, I decided to pretty it up and turn it into its own standalone thing. Yes, I do want to eventually turn this song into a proper music video, but until then this will be a fun thing to watch until then.

...Oh, and as for me looking into getting a replacement computer? Thankfully I have the funds to do so, and I've wanted to do so for a long while now anyways. I'm intending on making the purchase within the next week, and without all your support I most definitely wouldn't have the funds to make the purchase, so thank you very much for your support as always!
