Twilight in Wario Land 4 - Doors 3 Submission
Added 2018-07-02 04:44:26 +0000 UTCHey, it's a thing! This is a special occasion as today's video is a video that'll be exclusive to patrons for about a month, up until the final Doors 3 video gets released.
First, for those who aren't aware: Doors is an animated collaborative work where a bunch of animators get together to string together a set of scenes together, with each animator getting complete creative freedom with what happens from door to door. Technically this is "Pony Doors" which is a completely different series of videos starring Twilight Sparkle (The original series being full of stickmen), but for simplicity's sake everybody internally has been calling it just "Doors 3".
Right, anyways, my submission is based on Wario Land 4, a game released on the GBA a good 17 years ago. It's a game I enjoy much and wanted to do a thing where I have Twi imitate walking through and playing a Wario Land-esque stage.
...For further insight, look forward to an Animation Insights episode for this video in particular. I've already recorded the audio for it, and you'll be surprised by how much I'm able to dissect what went on here.
