The "Whoops February is only 28 days long" Post-February Update

It was an odd thing staying up until past midnight, casually checking the little calendar thing at the corner of the computer screen, and seeing that it'd passed over to March when I thought I still had half a week to make the changes on my Patreon page I said I'd do before the end of the month. Yikes.

With that being said, I do have some good news regarding the future, so let's quickly get into it.

First, the "Work for the dole" nonsense that had been eating away at my time and energy the past two months may be ending as of the next couple of weeks, as I may be getting a (somewhat) financially sustainable job! On the one hand this will technically be giving me even less time to make the videos I really want to make, on the other hand this will give me funds I didn't otherwise have, meaning I can outsource and commission other creators to streamline my content (Including perhaps being able to continue Trigger Happy Horses after all), of course this implies I get the job in the first place, which hasn't technically happened yet, but I'm feeling pretty confident about it.

Second, my birthday (March 12th) is coming up and I do have a video I'm trying to prepare for it. I always try to do something for my birthday every year, and I'm hoping that what I have this time isn't too ambitious, but it miiiiight be. Still, we'll see where we are in two weeks, whether I'll actually be able to complete the video I want in the timeframe I'm hoping for, for once.

Third thing to address, even if this is not technically video-related (Although kinda is). As some of you might know I'm a huge Lemon Demon dork, and most every one of his (Neil Cicierega's) songs are fantastic and I highly recommend listening to basically his whole discography to anyone. For those who aren't sure if that name rings a bell, he composed The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, among other internet classics like the Potter Puppet Pals or Brodyquest. He also wrote Musical Chairs, the song I animated to last year.

So, in my spare time the past couple of weeks I've been working on a huge spreadsheet detailing a comprehensive guide to Neil's stupidly large library of music he's uploaded to the internet, from the silly instrumentals he made as a teen all the way to the fantastic tracks he's still making to this day two decades later. Although it isn't yet done it's in a mostly viewable state, so for a short while I'll be making it a patron-exclusive perk. Go check it out here:

Oh, and the reason I said this was "Kinda" video related is because the video I'm hoping to get done in time for my birthday is a music video using one of these... 600+ songs. Good luck if you want to figure out which one it is, and I hope to be seeing you on the 12th!
