Patterns Old & New

Every fall (and sometimes spring) I feel a need for upheaval. A pattern that for many seasons of my life felt like a familiar friend calling me to take me out for a wild & unruly adventure. It felt like I was taking control of my life by uprooting everything and beginning again. In reality, I was running away. Running away from growth, from meaningful connections, and from myself.
I get emotional in this one.
