Restorative Yoga

You unbelievable humans - I am so deeply grateful for your presence here, and for your trust. Deep bows to each and every one of you.

How often do you take intentional rest - and I don't mean lying on the couch on your phone, in scroll-asana? Restorative Yoga is challenging because we often think that we need to be DOING all the time. In this practice, we stop Doing so that we can just BE. 

You'll want some props - if you have a couple of blocks, cushions, blankets, or bolsters those are all perfect. No need to go out and buy brand-new fancy props.

If you find this final restorative asana comfortable and relaxing, it's safe to stay in the shape for 15-20 minutes, if you so choose. We want to be there longer than 5 minutes generally, so the body has time to slowly release the hidden tension within it.  Notice the thoughts when they come up, and then let them float by - like clouds in a wide open sky.
