Weekly Standup 47

Also, note that if you haven't played v.0.11, then the leftmost image is a preview. ;)
TL;DR:
Things I got done this week: I spent the entire week getting back in the hang of drawing again. I got (maybe about) halfway done with the next interactive h-scene.
Things I want to get done next week: More drawing! Also hopefully not being late with the standup again!

I'm not including a day-by day breakdown, because I spent the entire week drawing, so... there's not much interesting to say on each day. Some practice work and some PT work.
Instead of a breakdown, I'll tell you about how the drawing has been - I can definitely notice that there's a bit of an effect from both lack of practice and unfamiliarity with my new drawing tablet. Some of the brushstrokes I end up making are definitely less... confident than before. On the other hand, those are things I can probably pretty easily get the hang of again, meanwhile there are other brushstrokes that I struggled heavily with little progress on the previous tablet that have become much easier on the new one.
I want to explain that last sentence a bit further with an example: when doing linework, it's often a good idea to make as few strokes as possible. The result is immediately a nice, clean, attractive shape. Previously I had a rough time with the screenless tablet but now it just... I just go for it and it works out (liberal application of ctrl-z notwithstanding). As an example, in the newest of the drawings on the cover image, the rightmost one, Ari's thigh is formed by two outlines, both of which are drawn with a single stroke.
I'm really happy about this.
