I released my Anbernic RG40xxv review and the views have been great. But no affiliate sales. These reviews actually end up costing me money since I almost always buy the devices myself. My next review will be the Ayaneo DMG, which I'm praying is my "end-all" device. It's got all the makings for my perfect handheld. Even with the analogue stick, because if you're gonna have a device that plays up to Switch, you're gonna want to take advantage of the power. Needless to say, I'm gonna mostly play Tetris on it. But I will have lots of options.
I've actually been locked out of my Patreon and cannot access my funds. Been attempting to get a payout for a couple months. No luck yet.
My plans for the near future:
1. Buy a mic for better video audio
2. Keep grinding on Hippo
3. Ayaneo review
4. Move into new house at end of the year
5. Start working on new content, including tourism/nomad and camping videos, with retro gaming tie-ins, of course.
I don't know how game development or reviews will play a part in my future after this year, besides doing both when I can for fun. My other content may end up making more actual income. And I have returned to web and graphics work to actually make a living. Would love to transition out of that again next year. But we will have to see how things go with videos and producing entertaining content. Fingers crossed my plans work.
