Filming in Utah

Some of you may remember my objective to have Self-fulfilling Prophecy Part 2: Nowhere to look like another planet. Something with locales and terrain I’ve never touched on before. The western half of the United States seemed like an excellent place to start.

And I was quite right indeed! Thanks to SidekickJason I got some terrific recommendations. In addition to getting a small scene filmed, we had a few great location scouts in the past few days.

I’m currently in Utah on a trip to meet the creative team of a software company I’ve been working for this year. They were kind enough to let me do some filming for my own projects too!

We also had a productive and joyful experience filming with Flying Scotsman Productions. It was so productive (and tiring!) an impromptu patron catch-up call did not happen.

When I get home, I would love to schedule it with two weeks notice so more can join. I’ll make sure to do it that way from now on. Thanks for bearing with me, and for your patience and support as always. Seth will be joining the call and I may even invite some close collaborators too.

Looking forward to catching up. The locations I’ve found out here will prove invaluable for the future.
