New Discourse section: The Marketplace

Dear Patrons,

There is a new section in the Teaching Tech Patreon Discourse forum called the Marketplace: https://teachingtech.discourse.group/c/marketplace/12

In short, it is for private selling between patrons. As such, personal messaging on Discourse have been enabled so you do not have to publicly post up addresses, etc when agreeing on terms for a sale.

Please only use this messaging feature for the Marketplace, not to seek personal technical support from anyone. Our brains trust already does a good job helping everyone in the Technical Help section so please use that instead.

I have a bunch of stuff I need to clean out and I will post them on the Marketplace in time. If I received the item for free, the money from the sale will go to a charity and I will post the receipt to keep things transparent. I need to investigate some shipping options for large items to see if it is feasible to post large items overseas or only within Australia.

There is a pinned post with some guidelines, so please have a read: https://teachingtech.discourse.group/t/marketplace-guidelines/1795

Ender = Ender Hemera upgrade video

Chris Burke

HI Micheal, just joined your Patreon, I've resin printing for about 5 years with a form labs +1 machine and started printing parts for my sisters hospital at start of covid, but then it broke and couldn't get new parts, 5 years is a long time in new tech :-) So I jumped into the FFF world at first with a Dremel 3d45, then an Eryone Thinker SE x 2 and inevitably jumped to a Prusa i3. Your videos have been a great help through making the transition from Resin to FFF especially around firmware mods. I've been fortunate to win some printing work for the print farm (hence the proliferation of printers) and added a Artillery sidewinder x1 to the "fleet". I'm just about to strip one of the thinkers to add a Hemera. Watching your video on the Ender prompted me to become a Patreon, your delivery style and your depth of knowledge is awesome, without guys like you I wouldn't know where to start. Thanks for your efforts, they are most appreciated. Cheers Chris, Manchester, UK
