New delta project: Tevo Little Monster + other upcoming stuff

Dear Patrons,

It has been rightly suggested that I don't have much delta printer content on the channel. I have only ever featured the Monoprice Mini Delta and beyond that back when I was a teacher we built an enormous HE3D K280 delta with my STEAM group.

Since then, I have been looking for another large delta as a project, and as of yesterday I have it. A friend had lost interest in their Tevo Little Monster so we traded some things and here we are. Seven year old provided for scale.

It currently has a Duet Wifi, but that will will be going back to the owner as well as some other modified parts. The first time you'll see it on the channel is testing a Lergde mainboard. They are 32 bit, with an ecosystem of accessories, but the main selling point is that all firmware configuration is done through the touchscreen.

Unless I fall in love with it, the end goal is to run Klipper on the delta.

Next video is the head to head BIQU B1 / Creality Ender 3 V2 review. As soon as next week I hope to have a guide out on the V2's Creality 32bit mainboard including how to fit a BLtouch/ filament runout sensor. Also next week will be a simple video on tools and spares worth getting for a maker.

Other upcoming content: BTT smart filament runout sensor guide, pellet extruder to directly print my recycled PLA shreds, a resin printing workflow video and a ridiculous open source claw machine.

200k sub milestone approaching and this week YouTube have finally recognised 100k and allowed me to claim the silver play button.

Thank you for your support and allowing me to do this stuff without sponsored videos. I am truly grateful!

Michael

They usually abs ABS rather than PLA so your higher temp waste filament would probably be compatible.

Thanks for all the helpful content. Glad to support you, even if it's just a little bit.

Very interested in recycling filament as we have a lot of waste - its part of engineering - parts go through many iterations. As for a Delta I like the predator. Only problem why its not running ATM is cause with printing all that HIPS for PPE the PTFE died and i had a pug so I decided to go with a Volcano (clone) and a V6(glone) both all metal and that requires some changes so its a project

Used a Lerdge mother board on a Ultimaker II clone a few years back . Works really well Added their heated bed relay and lighting system too. Considering the config method via the touch screen ( you can use a config file thats loaded with FW too) i was surprised it didnt catch on more . It will be interesting to hear you opinion . Good Luck

Looking forward to seeing more!
