Early Release: Cabletron multi-media hubs from the 90s!
Added 2024-07-25 20:04:23 +0000 UTCCabletron, aside from having arguably the best name of any networking vendor, made the legendary MMAC chassis starting in 1988. We take a look at a few examples we have, and see if we can get one back up and running.
Anyone else remember Cabletron or have any memories of their hardware or software management packages?

Very cool well done. I remember Cabeltron and the others. I was in graduate school and wrote software simulators for the IBM token ring and metropolitan area networks (MAN).
