MultiTech ModemRack
Added 2023-09-04 20:02:03 +0000 UTCWe were fortunate to receive this MultiTech ModemRack as a donation recently. It is an aluminum rackmount chassis that can hold 12 modems. Our unit came with two 28.8K modems, but the modem form factor is pretty common, we found more modems that are on our way to us including a 56k unit.
This will be useful as we soon start trying out a few terminal servers to handle our inbound modem connections!

I have a modem or two in that form factor. Somewhere... However it's 14.4 or 19.2 "— slow even by these standards.
