Tried a lot of new techniques and finally drew a background from scratch. My hands hurt! If any of you guys are interested in seeing the PSD for this file, lmk. I'll upload it somewhere.
The process was a bit tedious. I painted everything on one layer and merged it so I had to manually split the character from the background and repaint the whole thing according to perspective rulers. Was definitely a looong process, but very happy with the result!
