SubscribeStar/Future Update
Added 2020-08-10 16:00:05 +0000 UTCSo, it slipped my attention with the stress and hurry that I've been in for this month so far, but I noticed something I dislike about SubscribeStar's payout methods. Paypal isn't an option (while it is on Patreon) and you need at least $150 in your account in order to take the money you've earned. And they also take around 20% of your income for themselves.
At this point, a few of you have already pledged and I don't want to shift right again after saying I'd make my way to SubscribeStar, so I'm still going go stick with them for a few months to get a handle on things. But, with the way things are going, I think I'm going to make my own website in the long run. I feel that it would just be easier to handle pledges/donations, have a platform to post on without having to worry about someone coming down to hound me for nsfw content, and keep things separated for those that are supporting with payments and those that are supporting with simply viewing the page.
I have no idea how I'd go about that (or even if I'm going to at all), but that's the current thought I have about where to settle with a platform for my content and my fans that want to keep supporting me.
TLDR: Still leaving Patreon, might only be on SubscribeStar for a few months (but still pledge over there if you would like to keep getting content), thinking of where to settle for the long run and the future.
