Another Baldur's Gate 3 Update

As Larian likes to provide plenty of numbers about Baldur's Gate 3, it only feels fitting to join in a little. Especially when I had provided some in the last post already.

Now looking at the stats, well over 200000 people have modded their BG3 experience so far since the full release alone through the Nexus platform! That's quite the number of people and indeed more have delved into modding than even reviewed the game on Steam. Download numbers from my mods alone have also more than doubled since last week. Interest remains quite high it seems!

While I have indeed slowed down with the new mod releases since the last week and focused more on updating the existing ones, other's have certainly picked up the pace. In the end, well over one third of all new BG3 mods, years of early access included, have been released during just the last 7 days!

The modding community is also continuing to work on their own tools and venturing ever deeper. Larian also hasn't even released their modding tools for the game either.

So there's surly a lot more to come in the future, some big patches from Larian included. Luckily, the hotfixes seem to have caused little to no issues with existing mods as well. Overall modding issues also seem to have diminished. Both is definitely nice to see!

When it comes to new attire, I definitely still look forward to it. But that modding aspect is sadly still quite the tedious and convoluted process right now. Midnight Suns was certainly superior in that regard at least. But those Larian modding tools are on the way and the modding community itself is working on it as well!
