2023: Plans for The End of The World

Oops, its been a while! Not that long I guess, we've taken longer breaks before, but we've got big plans for the new year and I figured it would be good to let you all know about them. All of this is subject to change, and like all future plans I preemptively announce, they probably will. 

First things first: Will is moving back to NJ, meaning I will no longer be required to travel an hour and a half to record this podcast. We will be able to record much more regularly, and if all goes according to plan, we should be able to return to a weekly schedule! We have two episodes currently in the can (one of which is already available for our Acolyte tier in Uncharismatic-form). Those two will be release using our current schedule, so the first next Sunday, and the next one two weeks after. After that (fingers crossed) we should be able to start publishing weekly again. So, hopefully, you'll be getting twice as much of us this year. 

You should also expect some changes to the patreon in the form of at least one new tier. I've been tossing around ideas for a 10-dollar tier basically since I started this patreon, and this year, you'll finally get one. Mark my words. 

Lastly, you've probably noticed this, but we're trying something fun with our merch store. Every month(ish), we'll be adding a new piece of merch, which will then be replaced with a newer piece of merch the following month (speaking of which, as of writing this, you've got one week left to get your hands on our Commemorative Holiday Mug). If you've been paying attention for the last couple months, then you already know that these pieces are of impeccable quality and would look great on your mantle or as a gift for your grandparents. 

Oh shit, and we want to do a live tour. I almost forgot that. More on that eventually, once we have a better idea whether or not it's viable. 

On what will inevitably sound like a disingenuously sincere note, I want to thank all of you for sticking around. I've had my ups and downs with all this, but doing this podcast has been a genuinely fulfilling experience, and for better or for worse, it is the thing that I have made of which I am the most proud. I'm not even here to thank you for your money (but also, thank you for your money, please don't stop sending the money). Thank you for listening, and spreading the word, and building up this strange, uncomfortable, yet somehow eminently lovable community around this gross little thing we made. Together, lets make 2023 the year where I don't have to get a real job!
