I've paused billing
Added 2025-01-17 04:08:26 +0000 UTCI'm embarrassed about the amont of content I've been getting out so I've paused billing.
It's just really hard at the moment... and I'm struggling to actually write (as you've probably noticed.) If I publish 40k words while paused I'll restart the billing next month, otherwise I'll go another month paused.
Sorry everyone. It's just stressing me out too much that I'm delivering enough which makes it harder to write and so on.

First and foremost glad you are taking moves to take care of yourself. If pausing the billing reduces stress glad you did it. I also think it is very respectful but like others said we are here to support your work. Take care of yourself. We all want a healthy you!

2025-01-17 18:48:06 +0000 UTCI’ve been under intense pressure before, and I don’t think people understand the billing pause is for your peace of mind, not ours. I have been in the exact same place, just take a break and restart after you can consistently get work out at a level you feel comfortable with. Restarting the mental stress of feeling like you’re letting people down if you don’t produce enough (even though the comments make it clear we don’t feel that way) too early won’t help you. Exercise and personal interactions helps clear your mind and refocus. You have plenty of support just take a break

Confidently speaking for myself and tentatively speaking for others - if we thought the amount of content was wrong to pay for, we'd say so. There are projects where I've knowingly kept my payment going through a lengthy hiatus - this story means a lot, and you give it to the vast majority of people for free. We aren't here because we are buying something, we are here because we are supporting something.

I talk up the end of fate points to everyone I can (without spoilers)to try and get them interested in these types of stories. Please release the rest of the fate points books to Amazon, so I can start sending them out as gifts. Also, if you do a printed signed copy, let me know so I can pre-order (price isn’t an issue here)

2025-01-17 04:22:21 +0000 UTCIt's fine but don't overstress yourself trying to pump things out. Make a plan and do small goals like this story goes from a to b how am I going to get it there. Another example how can I better show this characters emotions,etc. Writers are more consumers of stories than ordinary readers most of the time, so excercise patience and small goal oriented behavior
