Twelve Minutes ultrawide solution

I've recently talked about developers advertising ultrawide support, only for us to find there is effectively none.
The story of Twelve Minutes is a bit different!

The fix posted by OnkelJupp on the WSGF subreddit got upvotes, no complaints, and even a developer response. The funny thing is that when I got to look into it, I found that the fix probably does not affect anything beyond the first few seconds of this 4-hour game. OnkelJupp responded to this notion and argued that it's still of some use because of cutscenes at the very end (a few more seconds?). I don't disagree - it is better than nothing, but I think he rushed to document it in the interest of the community.

The better news is that after some trying and running into pillarboxing issues revealed to have been caused by the presence of 4:3 and 16:10 resolutions on my system (there to test for WSGF reports, like my recent one on Raji), I made a trainer to remove the black bars visible at all interactions screens.

The less-than-good news is that the relevant or adjacent bytes are not found in the Steam version, as I found after having received the UnityPlayer file from that version. As such, the fix does not work for Steam and I currently have no access to that version.

Thankfully - and I'm never one to say this - the game should be perfectly playable even with the black bars. Hear me out! Just like the developer said, you spend most of its time looking at a room of an apartment from the top, and the width of any of the rooms from that angle never exceeds the 16:9 space. The rest is just black, so the black bars would fade into it.
