This is a bit different from my usual content. The commissioner, Keroro623, initially asked for this and some sexy scenes. While I was working on the outline I found that I couldn't keep the intended tone with sex, and they were ok with dropping that altogether. The end result ends up being a pretty action-heavy but emotionally deep fantasy story. While I enjoy writing smut, I did have dreams to be a fantasy novelist (and I've got a project in the works on that) so it felt like a nice change of pace.
