Vagabonds Chapter 15 Part 2
Added 2022-12-18 14:00:04 +0000 UTCIn rereading this, I remember that I really liked dialogue a lot. Like, so much that I forgot to use ‘said’ a few times because (at the time of writing) I had been convinced the character voices were solid. But I don’t know if that is anymore.
Sadly, this is the last completed bit I wrote of Vagabonds. It was a fun experiment, but I couldn’t find a proper path on where the story needed to go, or I couldn’t get motivated to write that path. So, after a few attempts at a 16th chapter, I kind of just tossed it.
I did learn some things. For one, I liked Thax’s character archetype a lot and would try to use him in other stories. Another thing is that I get overly complicated in my world building that it stuns me, but I think letting myself explore ideas of what concepts can or cannot do helps me find interesting ideas to explore.
Next year, I will be altering my tiers. I’ll explain this more in a future post, but don’t worry. If I understand how this website works, none of you will be paying more than what you are already giving (which I am thankful for). I’m more or less planning on adding a tier and removing one.
