Vagabonds Chapter 15 Part 1

This chapter I wanted to again focus on Thax and Gel’s dynamic. Thax being responsible, but overly cautious, while Gel is more carefree but figures they’re too deep to really stop the mission once new information has been revealed. I like writing actions to express how characters are feeling, but I know nowadays that the rule ‘show don’t tell’ does not apply to books as it does to visual media.
Also, sadly, I never wrote a 16th chapter. Well, I never finished it. I don’t know if I made it clear when I first started posting these, but Vagabonds is unfinished. I could say that I lost passion through the project, or I just found myself hitting walls and didn’t know how to proceed. It was an experiment I liked, and characters like Thax are something I want to use again. But I couldn’t finish this one.
I’m still debating on how to deal with this once the next one is posted. I think I’ll need to reconstruct my tiers next year. I feel weird about doing this because I don’t have many supporters at the moment (though I appreciate those of you that are), but I won’t have anything to write for the middle tier anymore so I figure it’d be best to remove it. I’ll mull it over.
