Chapter 14, if I didn’t already explain it, kind of delves into my thoughts on mind reading. The first part exemplified how creepy it is for someone to just peer into your mind and there’s no way of you stopping it, removing any semblance of privacy you have. This one goes into what I consider is the practical limits of mind reading. Like trying to read someone’s mind who speaks in a language you don’t understand. I’ve never liked the idea of a psychic person just understanding you despite an obvious language barrier based on intent alone, but it could be I just don’t like psychics, hence why Augur is a dick.
