Police Report:

On 02/19/2022, near the intersection of South US Highway 41 and Kracker Avenue, Gibsonton, Florida, an off-duty Tampa Police Department Officer observed the defendant in physical control and operating a black 2014 Chevrolet Camaro unable to maintain a single lane and driving well below the listed speed limit. Upon contact with the defendant, the TPD officer and HCSO deputy observed multiple indicators of impairment. While in direct contact with the defendant, the officers observed her to have bloodshot watery/glassy eyes, slurred speech, was slightly unsteady on her feet, and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. The defendant participated in the field sobriety exercises, and while doing so, she demonstrated further indicators of impairment. After taking the totality of the circumstances and the defendant's indicators of impairment into consideration, she was placed under arrest for DUI. The defendant was transported to Central Breath Testing and provided two lawful breath samples of .216 and .211. The officers further identified the defendant via her DAVID photograph.

Plea Agreement: Ag guilty of out with BAC below .150. 12 months probation with auto early termination. $1000 fine plus court costs. Attend and complete Level One DUI school and any recommended treatment. Perform 50 hours community service, may buy out 25 hours. One session of Victim Impact Panel (V.I.P.). 10-day immobilization. Six months DL revocation.
