Fight Club Update #4 & I want to help you be creative

Good evening Just Bleed Crew!

How the hell are we all doing? Apologies for the non-update last week but things are sorta back on track at the moment so let's do this thing!

Work is progressing on the video now to the point where I'm pretty much done with the first segment, which is all about our favourite backyard fisting organization, Street Beefs.

Right now, there's about 35 minutes of video completed, but there's 50 minutes of dialogue to process, so in the end I think the whole segment will be about an hour long. It's turned out pretty well I think, It covers the early days back when it was basically just a place for people to settle disputes without resorting to pulling out their strap and going rat-a-tat-tat, to the first viral moments, and now in the modern era where its mostly known for meme fights.

I've had a few interviews with SB alumni too, I've spoken to 2 lesser known fighters, and of course, the legend Shinigami The Reaper himself. I did have a few more people reach out for interviews and stuff but I have decided to leave it as it is for now, as while i did enjoy the interviews I've done so far, I was kinda stressing myself out over them in that I wasn't really sure if I was asking the right questions to make the interviews really worth the time for both myself and the participants, and was worried that they were actually slowing the pace of the production too.

So on a more serious note, with September almost in the rear view, we are rapidly approaching the deadline for getting this video done if i still want to have a hope of making the End of Year review. Looking at my release schedule from last year, I released Lineal 3 on 18th of October, and put out the EOY vid on the 13th of December. The latest I can realistically get this video out and still have enough time for EOY 25, is Oct 25th.

This week will be the make or break point that decides if I'll make it on time, as i have a lot more free time to write and edit. I'm on the shift in my Job where I work from home for a week which just means that i work from 11am-7pm, so I can get up early and write for a couple of hours every morning before doing actual work, which usually speeds things along considerably. So I'm hoping this extra time for writing/editing speeds things up, and I can get this thing done by that 25th Deadline. But as always I can never be 100% sure as these videos have a tendency to run longer than I imagined, as you all know. So I just want to be fully transparent with you all.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!

So recently I believe I mentioned that I finally bought a really good quality Mic and holy shit, I even bought one of those really fancy mic arms like you'd see a professional use such as those kind featured in professional podcaster Joe Rogan's studio. Im just sat here swinging this arm around for fun like John Entwhistle or whatever the name of that guy in The Who is. This thing is NICE.

Well, this is where I want to help out any aspiring creators in my audience. Because I now have my old microphone just sitting around going to waste. So if you have ever wanted to start creating videos yourself but don't have the equipment, if you're willing to pay for shipping, I will send you my old mic.

It may be old but this is a fairly expensive professional grade mic (I just used it unprofessionally). It's no exaggeration to say that the day this mic was dropped onto my desk in work and I said fuck this I'm taking this mfer and gonna make YouTube videos with it, was legitimately life changing.

So I hope to pay it forward and maybe even have it change another persons life. If you have been thinking about making YT videos, or record yourself singing, or playing guitar, or whatever the fuck, as long as you just want to be creative (and are willing to pay postage, as stated earlier), just DM me. I really want this to go to someone who genuinely has a desire to create and not someone who's going to just sell it to buy magic beans or whatever, so if you have an idea of what you'd use it for, a podcast or video series or anything at all, just put it in the DM and let me know. I'd love to hear it.
