Dante Update - penultimate edition

After checks notes 61 days of writing, editing and all the assorted other shit, the script is 100% finalized and sitting at sixteen fucking thousand words long oh my Christ what am I doing with my life, and total video production is about 80% complete. Right now, without any major rewrites pending, the video is 2 hours and 5 minutes long. Its officially the longest (non supercut) video I've done. Hell its 5 minutes longer than the Brock Lesnar video, 10 minutes longer than the final TUF video, and 1 hour 58 minutes longer than the first time I spoke about Dante in the original Fake Martial Arts video!!
I'm hoping this will be the last update before this thing goes live, but there's still a full 20 minutes of the video that is nothing but voice over in need of accompanying video, there's potential re-writes to do, and I'm still awaiting some of the illustrations for the Dojo War segment so this all might drag me back by a few days, but ideally, if i can get the artwork this week, I'm aiming to have this on Patreon next weekend, but obviously some of this is outside my control so that's a tentative date.

Considering the first time i wrote about Dante, it was a 7 minute long segment that at the time, i considered "well researched", making this behemoth of a video has genuinely been challenging, but in a good way. I did reach out to a couple of people from that era who are still around to see if they wanted to be interviewed but sadly no one got back to me. Maybe they're dead, who knows.
Anyway, here's some real life DEADLIEST FIGHTING shit for you. What you do with this arcane knowledge of the deadly thumb suck attack I leave up to you.

I get that his influence is probably bigger than most people realize, but at the same time this is a guy who advertised his ability to murder people alongside ads for Sea Monkeys.
