I hope you all had a good weekend, and if you made it to the live stream yesterday, I hope you enjoyed that too. Despite the technical difficulties which are pretty much standard for me now, it was a lot of fun. I guess it's cause I stream so infrequently that each time I do it, its like setting it up from scratch all over again. And you'd be surprised just how much work it is trying to get everything set up if you haven't done it before. It's an absolute ball ache to be perfectly honest! But myself and the wife had fun and the reception seems positive so far, so another Mystery MMA Theatre 3K might be on the horizon soon.
The Dux video is rolling along, but still not as fast as I'd like owing to the fact that my new job doesn't give me any work from home days. They were a lifesaver for editing I swear, I could always get some recording or editing done on the sly during a quiet morning! But either way, were up to 20 minutes of video right now. It spans the intro and Franks early life training with mythical martial arts instructor Senzo "Tiger" Tanaka. I'm just about to move on to Franks glittering military/CIA/FBI/insert acronym here/ career, and then the last 3rd of the video is going to be, obviously, his martial arts career, the kumite, and BLOODSPORT.
In other news, I've just received the bout order for FIGHT CIRCUS 7! Again, I'll be providing some fight intros, and let me tell you this: I can't spoil anything, as this could fall through and nothing is finalized, but they actually have an insanely big combat sports name on board to host this one. I'm actually 100% serious here, this is going to be one of those "wait, fucking WHAT?!" moments for all of you when it gets announced officially. When they told me I practically fell off my damn chair.
And there's more, as I also have it on good authority there's a slight chance that another big name in combat sports is in talks with them too, I have been promised a shoutout from said person if it comes to pass, and again let me just say this, if this actually happens, it'll be the pinnacle of my career. Like shut it all down now, were never topping this, I'm going out on the highest of high kinda shoutouts 😆 I'll leave you to speculate amongst yourselves who these 2 characters are, and if it does all fall through, I'll tell you who it was at a later date so we can mourn the loss of what could have been.
Following on from last week John wick 4 review, In random movie news, I watched that movie SISU tonight. It makes John Wick 4 look grounded and realistic by comparison. It's WW2 John Wick, but with a level of ridiculousness I didn't think was possible. It was kinda so bad it was actually fucking great? Think a low budget Inglorious Bastards crossed with JW4 and there you have it.

But I still cannot wait to watch this puppy. When I saw Bloodsport as a much younger man, before the internet was a thing for anyone outside of the military, a few colleges, and hardcore nerds i thought that it was all true. I thought that Dux had to be the most bad-ass warrior EVER. Of course once the internet became widely available with that 56k dial-up modem I, along with others, learned the truth - that he is completely full of shit. But honestly you’ve gotta kinda respect the guy - he came up with the biggest bunch of crap known to mankind and people who were older and supported wiser than you and I believed his bullshit as well! Seriously can’t wait for this sucker to drop!
