Happy Holidays!!

First of all, a huge, huge, thank you to each and every one of you. Second of all, please enjoy this out takes video from the making of the latest video!!

As 2022 draws to a close, it's been a wild year to look back on for the channel. This year alone I did Pride part 3, Fake Martial Arts 2, CM Punk, two TUF videos, and the review of the year. 2 cameos for my buddy Mixed Martial Academic, and this weekend I finished my guest spot for Fight Circus 4. Tho to be real, the FC4 lines were kinda half assed as I'm completely and utterly spent by now, so not my finest work 😂 But hey, it's Fight Circus, they run on half assed-ness! 

And also, a lot of the fight descriptions they sent me made no fucking sense, so I was just winging it!  

But if not for your support, I'm not sure if id have stuck with it, or at the very least, I'd not have put out as much as I did this year. I'm only sorry I've been so busy lately I've ben slipping on replying to some of your DM's here, which I will remedy soon. I love hearing from all of you and talking about music/MMA/whatever and the only thing that sucks about getting more patrons is it means it takes longer to reply to you all.

Yeah so the end of year video was a blast to make. No expense was spent on green screen backdrops, Seagal outfits, and clearly, many hours were spent making props such as Biscuits youtube contract. With it being the last video of the year I just wanted to have fun with it. Some people in the YT comments seem to have mistaken it for a serious review of the year however, with one person asking why I missed out on Rumble Johnson in the "in memoriam" section. I dunno dude, maybe cause it would've been grossly offensive to put an actual person we lost this year next to "McGregors beard" or "Johnny Walkers dignity"?! 

Unfortunately, I've also been bombarded with people expecting me to disassociate myself from Paddy Pimblett after his hot takes on Ariel this week. While I don't have a problem with Paddy asking to be paid for an interview with Ariel, and maybe its just me, but I was actually surprised to find out fighters DON'T get paid to go on his show, I thought they could've done without flat out insulting of Ariel. That was uncalled for. But Paddy has been a great friend to the channel, we have talked a few times over email and he's a great guy. To be quite honest I don't listen to or watch Ariel, and I had never watched Paddy's podcast either, so if it wasn't for people messaging me about this and asking my opinion on it, honestly, the entire saga would've passed me by. But if anyone did expect me to pull a "Paddy was never my friend", well that ain't happening!! Aside from Paddy and the Bisping shoutout, I don't get much support from other Martial Arts channels or figures higher up the food chain than myself, so when someone in that realm is cool to me, you can be damn sure I'll do right by them.

But anyway, back to the channel!! So I'll probably be taking a little break for a while. Not an extended break or anything, this isn't a stereotypical Youtuber "Goodbye..." kinda post. No, I just need a little break, and I have a vacation planned for mid January, so once I get home from that, I'll get back to work. 

I have a couple of ideas for the new year. I'm definitely going back to the world of Fake martial arts at some point as i never got around to properly covering Frank Dux. I initially thought I'd leave my TUF videos at part 1 & 2, as the latter seasons of TUF all kinda suck. But there's still some good shit to talk about even in the tail end of the show, so I think TUF 3 is on the cards too. I've also been turning over and over in my head, like some awful pancake, the idea of doing a history of freakshow fights and how they eventually spawned the Youtube Boxing craze.
