Blog post style rant!
I haven't changed too much in it, I just normalized the vocals so that they can actually be heard without having to raise your volume to max, (resulting in deafening you whenever the music gets loud or i raise my voice). I made a few tweaks and changes here and there, some smoother transitions, nicer looking texts, better green screens effects, and some different music in parts where i felt the original music wasn't really suited. Overall it's not gonna make you go WOAH VERY FANTASTIC REMASTER or anything, but as the original Head Movement still gets a fair few hits per day, i honestly felt kinda embarrassed by the sheer amount of comments like "why you whispering bro", so i had to do something to correct it!
Watching the video now it's definitely a bit of a prototype for the videos that would follow. It feels very barebones to me now, even though at the time, i was like "holy crap, this is my Citizen Kane!!" The script to me now sounds really basic, and not exactly a Ken Burns-esque amount of research went in, and the jokes are ehhhh.. but it could be worse. I mean it's definitely in the top 10 of Edmond Tarverdyan related videos on youtube, probably.
The reason the script wasn't exactly War & Peace and the audio was wonky was at the time, I was maybe 1/3rd assing the youtube gig (i have since upgraded to at least 3/4 assing it) so not wanting to spend too much time in the evenings writing and recording, i would work on the script on my lunch breaks in work. And all the audio was recorded in an empty office hence why it sounds so echoey compared to the recent videos where i actually, you know, sat in front of a mic in a small room like an actual vocal recording should be done!
Despite all the issues i have with the video i am still pretty proud of it, as it really was the first time the channel got any attention, and i do still love the intro (though that's mostly down to Ronda's mom cooking Edmonds ass and the Deafheaven instrumental track which is gorgeous).
But i hope you guys enjoy it, i mean lets face it, it's never not fun to watch that clip of Edmond screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO thats the only positive thing ive ever seen associated with a schaub standup special 😂Yeah i agree tho, honestly it sucks as i genuinely think Ronda with the right coach couldve dominated for years. Just find a coach to help her shore up her striking game but still just work on her grappling as her main strength. Like every single interview with Edmond hes jsut sucking off Rondas boxing abilities which we all know were absolute trash, and he never once mentions anything to do with grappling. He just wanted her to be a boxer but thats literally like taking Khabib and trying to convince him he's a KO artist and needs to forget about this grappling shit lol

Part of me is glad she bounced out, and is getting paid in the WWE. Before I saw the original cut of this video I thought I knew about Rousey, and after it I knew that what I thought was wrong. It's not that she was a huge piece of shit with a glass jaw, but that she ran in with someone who told her she could learn things from him he wasn't qualified to teach her. She got so far on pre-Edmond talent, and it's a huge shame for her UFC legacy that she didn't land literally anywhere else. She could have learned how to box better at a fucking Bredan Schaub comedy show than she ever could have done in Edmond's gym.
