Remastering the Head Movement video
Added 2022-01-17 10:16:02 +0000 UTCSo recently i was digging around one of several hard drives worth of MMA memes, when i found a folder containing 3TB of Valentina Shevchenko erotic fanfiction.
I ALSO found the entire contents of the Head movement video, complete with the Vegas Pro Project files. I fired it up in the video editor and sure enough, almost the entire video is there and ready to be rendered all over again.
The Head Movement video was the first video i ever did that had mild popularity, and really was what kick started the whole channel, so i have a special fondness for it. It pushed me past 1000 subscribers, and without its popularity I'd probably have given up on the channel. But it was also one of the first batch of videos i ever did, and at the time i had no idea how to normalize vocals in these videos, so I'd just whack the volume of the vocal track up to +20db, which meant it still sounded really low but as soon as i raise my voice its almost deafening, and the music is all over the place, either too loud or too quiet. Hey, i never said i was a professional!! This is punk rock, baby.
Finding the vegas pro project file means i can actually normalize the vocals now and have everything at a nice level. I tested it out yesterday and it sounds MUCH better, (tho the vocals are still kinda echoey, as i recorded it in an empty office in my work!! Cant fix that sadly!)
I thought it might make a fun bonus video after Pride Part 2 comes out, as it'll only take a few days to get it all fixed up. But i thought id put it to the vote and see if it's actually something people would be interested in (and if it is, ill make it a Patreon exclusive for a week or so first). Let me know what you think

I watched it sitting down the first time and had it playing the second time on the laptop while attempting to make spaghetti carbonara in the kitchen (it didn't end well). More importantly, it's significant and meaningful to you so even if it gets hardly any views it'll be a great reminder of the achievement from the work you put in.
