Good news, and slightly less good news

A quick update for you with some good, and not so good, (but not terrible), news!

So I've been working on the Pride video for over a month now. I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far, and i hope you'll enjoy it. There's Schaub bashing, Jeff Monson cameos, and a full 2 or 3 minute segment dedicated to how fucking dope the Pride FC main theme was 😁

In the screenshot above, if you look at the red line, that's recorded audio. So there's basically 1 hour of dialogue recorded. That's covering from Prides roots, to its founding in 1997, up til about 2003/4. So still an absolute shitload of stuff left to cover, and i don't even have the script for it written yet!!

Basically, long story short, if i keep going at this rate of writing and recording, ill honestly be lucky if

1) I get it done by the end of December

2) I don't completely burn myself out, wind up saying "fuck it" and take up crochet as a past time instead

As it stands, i have a video that I'm very proud of that's about 45 minutes long, and comes to a natural, almost cliffhanger-ish ending after the Pride 2000 GP. So instead of doing one massive video and risking burning myself out, i think I'm going to essentially do episodes for the Pride saga, so in the good news category, that means Episode 1 is more or less done and just needs some polishing up, and can be released probably by the end of the week! Then i can take some time to edit what i have left and build a better episode 2, instead of kinda half assing it because im exhausted and overwhelmed by the task.

No exaggeration but this video has been the toughest to make so far, simply with the sheer amount of research that had to be done, then writing, recording, then scrapping entire sections and re-writing and re-recording them. The to cap it all off, dealing with software malfunctions where my editor would crash every time id try and render the video, to trying to appease the almighty youtube copyright censors.

Anyway, how the fuck are you guys? Genuinely hope you're all dong well.
